Rena Sofer played the role of Quinn Fuller on The Bold and The Beautiful since July 2013. However, in August 2022, the actress announced that she had decided to leave the show. The characters exit was written as an abrupt departure from town. According to Rena Sofer, her decision to leave the show was due to her feeling that she deserved more than just sitting around until the writers figured out what to do with Quinn. She also mentioned that there was still so much to do with the character, especially at the end of the whole Quarter story. Rena Sofer confirmed on social media that she had left the soap, only further confusing fans.
