Rosita Espinosa is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Christian Serratos in the American television series of the same name. In the final episode of the series, Rosita dies after being bitten by a walker while trying to escape with Gabriel and Eugene. She had been on a mission to find her daughter, Coco, and had managed to rescue her before her death. Rositas death was requested by Christian Serratos, who played her, as she felt it was important to leave Rosita with a legacy of how she lived for family. The producers of the show did not decide to kill off Rosita; it was Serratos idea. The character had been present in 94 episodes, making her one of the characters with the most appearances in the entire series.
