Sadie King was a character on the British television soap opera Emmerdale, played by Patsy Kensit from 2004 to 2006. She was the first wife of Jimmy King and a central antagonist in the soap. Sadie arrived in Emmerdale via helicopter in 2004 and swiftly threw her weight around with the King family and business empire, clashing with Toms girlfriend Charity Tate. She began to lose interest in Jimmy when she realized they both had vastly different dreams, with Sadie being ambitious and Jimmy wanting a family. Sadie began taking contraceptive injections behind Jimmys back and when she confessed, Jimmy demanded a divorce. Sick of being rejected by Jimmy, Sadie began an affair with local mechanic Robert Sugden.

Sadie left the village with Cain Dingle after they planned to kidnap Tom King but the plan backfired and Cain took £2 million from Tom. There were also rumors that Emmerdale bosses were going to kill off Sadie King after Patsy Kensit quit her role for Holby City. However, there is no evidence that this actually happened.
