At the end of Breaking Bad, Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk) fled to Omaha, Nebraska, and became Gene Takavic after contacting Ed Galbraith (Robert Forster), aka the "Disappearer," for a new identity. He did not appear in the series finale, but there was an option featuring Sauls death that series creator Vince Gilligan decided to scrap. In the spin-off series Better Call Saul, which serves as a prequel to Breaking Bad, Jimmy McGill (Sauls real name) faces the consequences of his actions throughout both series, including his involvement with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. The series ends with Jimmy going to prison for his actions in Breaking Bad.
