In April 2020, Shoreline Mafia announced that they would be breaking up, citing "creative differences" among group members. Fenix Flexin announced that he would be leaving Shoreline Mafia after the release of their new album, Mafia Bidness. The groups debut album was released on July 31, 2020. OHGEESY, a member of the group, has spoken out about the breakup, but the explanation was limited. Since the breakup, both OHGEESY and Fenix Flexin have gone solo. Rob Vicious and Master Kato have also pursued their own projects.
