After Ravanas death, Surpanakha visited Sita in the forest, according to one source. However, there is no mention of Surpanakha after the war in the Valmiki Ramayana. Some versions of the Ramayana suggest that Surpanakha did immense penance at the holy lake of Pushkara and pleased Lord Brahma. She asked Lord Brahma that she should marry Rama in her next birth. It is also believed that after the end of the battle between Rama and Ravana, Surpanakha stayed with Vibhishana in Lanka itself.
