According to the search results, the fate of the Geonosians is a tragic one. The Galactic Empire sterilized the planets surface, killing most of the planets population, by orders from Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. The Geonosians were forced by the Empire to assist in the construction of the Death Star, and many were enslaved to continue work on the space station. The Empire eventually killed all the Geonosians, making it the biggest massacre the Empire ever committed, even compared to the destruction of Leias home planet, Alderaan. However, some Geonosians survived, and in the Star Wars Rebels series, the Ghost crew found one adult Geonosian and one queen left. They discovered that the queen was protecting a queen egg, which was the key to the survival of the Geonosian race. The queen that hatched from the egg found by Klik-Klak in Rebels was sterile, so it is not looking too good for the Geonosians. Therefore, it is unclear whether any Geonosians survived after the events of Star Wars Rebels.
