Tom Bergeron, the former host of "Dancing with the Stars," was fired from the show in July 2020 after hosting it for 28 seasons. He was replaced by Tyra Banks, who hosted the show for three seasons before announcing her departure in March 2023. Julianne Hough was then announced as her replacement for season 32, working alongside Alfonso Ribeiro as a co-host. Bergeron has spoken out about his firing, admitting that he felt things changing behind the scenes of the show and figured he wouldnt be around for much longer. He also stated that the show he left was not the show that he loved and that he and the producers were butting heads. Erin Andrews, who co-hosted the show with Bergeron since 2014, was also let go at the same time as him.
