Tracy Chapman is still in the music business but has not released any original music since 2008. Her last album with original songs was "Our Bright Future". In 2015, she released a greatest hits compilation and stated in a fan interview that she wasnt retired yet. Although she hasnt officially retired, she hasnt released any new music in recent years. In 2020, she made a rare public appearance by performing "Talkin about a Revolution" on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Chapman no longer tours.
