Wilma McCann had four children: Richard, Sonia, Donna, and Angela. After Wilmas murder, her four children were taken into care by the police. In the show, DCS Dennis Hoban asked the children to pose with a photo of their favorite toy, hoping the picture would elicit a sympathetic response during a public appeal for information. The children were taken to Becketts Park Childrens Home. After the photo was taken, the children were moved in with their estranged and abusive father. It was years before they would find out exactly how their mother died. Today, Richard is a successful motivational speaker with a family.
