When you report someone on WhatsApp, the reported user or group will not receive a notification or any direct indication that you reported them. WhatsApp will receive and review the last five messages sent to you by the reported user or group, without notifying the user or the group. Additionally, it checks the reported group or user ID, message timing, and type of messages shared. Depending on whether the reported user has violated WhatsApp’s Terms of Service or not, the WhatsApp team may ban the user without notification. If the reported account is found to be violating WhatsApps policies, it may be suspended for a few hours or days, or even deleted permanently. When you report someone, the chat associated with that account will not be automatically deleted, but you can manually delete it.
