Christian McCaffrey attended two high schools in Colorado. He went to Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado for his freshman year and then transferred to Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he played under coach Brent Vieselmeyer for the rest of his high school career. McCaffrey played running back, wide receiver, cornerback, and punter in high school and was named Gatorade Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013 for his high school efforts in football. He also holds several state records, including total career touchdowns, career touchdown receptions, single-season all-purpose yards, and career all-purpose yards.
