According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, there are several hunting seasons in Wisconsin. As of October 31, 2023, the current hunting seasons are:

• Archery and Crossbow: September 16 - January 7, 2024
• Youth Deer Hunt: October 7-8
• Gun Deer Hunt For Hunters with Disabilities: October 7-15 (NOT a statewide season)
• Gun: November 18-26
• Muzzleloader: November 27-December 6
• December Four-Day Antlerless-Only Hunt: December 7-10
• Antlerless-Only Holiday Hunt: December 24, 2023-January 1, 2024
