The iPhone that came out in 2020 was the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. These models were unveiled by Apple on October 13, 2020, and were the fourteenth-generation, "affordable flagship" iPhones, succeeding the iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini feature a newly designed chassis with flat edges, similar to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 designs, as well as the iPad Pro since 2018, and the 4th-generation iPad Air, which was also released in 2020. They also introduced 5G technology and a new Ceramic Shield front cover, providing the biggest jump in durability ever on iPhone. The iPhone SE was also released in 2020, but it is a second-generation model and not a new release.
