The following iPhone models are water-resistant, but not completely waterproof:

• iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (IP67 rating)
• iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, and SE 2 (IP67 rating)
• iPhone XS, XS Max, and 11 (IP68 rating, up to 2 meters deep for up to 30 minutes)
• iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max (IP68 rating, up to 4 meters deep for up to 30 minutes)
• iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max (IP68 rating, up to 6 meters deep for up to 30 minutes)

Its important to note that even though these iPhones are water-resistant, they are not completely indestructible by water. If you leave a phone in water or some other liquid for long enough, it can still be damaged. Manufacturers tend to use the term "water-resistant" instead of "waterproof" for this reason. If your iPhone does get wet, its recommended to turn it off and wipe it with a dry cloth. Apple also recommends letting the phone dry for at least five hours before attempting to charge it.
