A blusher veil is a traditional wedding accessory that is worn over the face as the bride walks down the aisle and/or during the ceremony. It is the shorter layer veil that is traditionally worn over the face as the bride walks down the aisle. The blusher creates a romantic, ethereal look and is designed to be lifted and flipped back to reveal the brides face either when the father "gives away" the bride to the groom or at the end of the ceremony when the bride and groom kiss. The blusher can be worn over the face, as is tradition, or pulled back away from the face as the bride walks down the aisle to give a nice 2-tier layered look from the back. The blusher can have a plain cut edge so as not to distract from the front detailing of the gown. It is also possible to make the long portion of the veil detachable with Velcro so that the bride can wear the short portion all through the reception celebration from cocktails to cake cutting. The blusher veil is not outdated or old-fashioned for modern brides and can be worn to achieve an ethereal vibe or to get awesome wedding photos.
