Instead, it is used to make bags, sacks, curtains, cushions, table mats, ribbon and bows, wall hangings, rosettes, bunting, gift bags, wreaths, and more. In the shipping industry, burlap is used to transport and hold items that require fresh air, like fruits or vegetables.
