An off cutter is a type of delivery in the game of cricket that is bowled by fast bowlers. It is a fastball that turns into a right-handed batsman, often used by seam bowlers to get the ball to move when there is no help from the pitch. The off cutter is bowled away towards the off stump and upon pitching, spins or cuts in towards the leg side, provided the ball lands on the seam or on rough surface. The deviation of the ball is known as cut, and the delivery is called an off cutter because it moves away from the off side.

To bowl an off cutter, the bowler grips the ball with their index finger on the seam and their middle finger a little away, while the thumb grips the ball from below. The wrist is locked in position and the ball is released at the very last moment with a cutting motion down the right side of the ball. The bowler drags their fingers across the seam as they release the ball, generating spin from left to right as it makes its way down the pitch. The ideal off cutter pitches on or outside off stump to a right-handed batsman at a good length.

In contemporary cricket, the off cutter is primarily used as a slower ball in limited over cricket.
