A doxxing truck is a vehicle equipped with digital billboards that display the names and faces of individuals who are accused of being affiliated with groups that are perceived to be anti-Semitic or pro-Palestinian. The term "doxxing" is short for "dropping documents" and refers to the act of revealing identifying information about someone online, such as their real name, home address, workplace, phone, financial, and other personal information. The doxxing truck is a form of doxxing that is used to intimidate and harass individuals by exposing their personal information to the public without their permission. The doxxing truck has been used on the campuses of Harvard University, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel. The deliberate harassment and targeting of members of the community by doxxing is unacceptable, and it is a dangerous form of intimidation. Columbia University has launched a "Doxxing Resource Group" for students whose names and photographs are being displayed on the side of the truck driven near campus with a message describing them as the "leading anti-Semites".
