A far-right Republican is a member of the Republican Party who holds far-right or extreme right-wing political views. Far-right politics, or right-wing extremism, refers to a spectrum of political thought that tends to be radically conservative, ultra-nationalist, and authoritarian, often including nativist tendencies. The term "far-right" is used to describe politics further on the right of the left-right spectrum than the mainstream political right. Far-right Republicans may hold views that are anti-communist, anti-socialist, anti-union, anti-liberal, and anti-federal safety net programs. They may also hold views that are ultraconservative, white supremacist, or other right-wing to far-right ideologies). Far-right Republicans may be associated with groups that feature aspects of authoritarian, ultra-nationalist, chauvinist, xenophobic, theocratic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or reactionary views. The far-right Republican movement has been described as a rump faction of Republicans who dont believe in government and is the logical culmination of an increasingly radical and extremist Republican Party.
