A Full House is a poker hand that ranks at position #3 or #4 on the poker hand rankings chart, depending on the source. It is a combination of three cards of the same rank and two cards of another rank. For example, a Full House could be three Kings and two Jacks. The best possible Full House is Aces full of Kings, which is three Aces and two Kings.

When ranking Full Houses, the three cards of the same rank are the most important, followed by the two cards of the other rank. If two players have Full Houses, the player with the higher three-of-a-kind wins. If two players have the same three-of-a-kind, the player with the higher pair wins. If both the three-of-a-kind and the pair are the same, the pot is split between the players.

Its important to note that in Texas Holdem, there always needs to be at least one pair on the board for a player to have a Full House.
