It is important to note that in most tournaments, if its rack-your-own, the 9-ball doesnt count on the break, or if it counts, it only counts in the sides and upper corners, NOT in the lower 2 corners. If it goes into one of those pockets, its considered luck, but if it goes in the lower corners, its the result of cheating the rack.
