A "kabut" is not a known term. However, there are two similar terms that may have been intended: "kibbutz" and "kabuto".

  • Kibbutz: A kibbutz is an intentional community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. It is a voluntary society in which people live in accordance with a specific social contract, based on egalitarian and communal principles. Kibbutzim have made a dramatic mark on Israeli production, culture, and ideology, despite encompassing only three percent of Israeli society.

  • Kabuto: Kabuto is a type of helmet first used by ancient Japanese warriors which, in later periods, became an important part of the traditional Japanese armor worn by the samurai class and their retainers. A typical kabuto features a central dome constructed of anywhere from three to over a hundred metal plates riveted together. These were usually arranged vertically, radiating from a small opening in the top. The rivets securing these metal plates to each other could be raised or hammered flat, and kabuto are often adorned with crests called datemono or tatemono.
