The Rivian R1S is an all-electric full-size off-road SUV manufactured by Rivian Automotive. It is designed to hold seven passengers and has three rows of seats. The R1S has an upscale cabin and is equipped with an all-electric powertrain. It has either two or four electric motors, depending on the configuration, and has a combined output power of 835 horsepower and 908 pound-feet of torque. The R1S is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds. It has legit off-road capability that rivals many gasoline-powered rivals such as the Land Rover Discovery. The standard air suspension can be adjusted to give up to 15 inches of ground clearance, and the Quad-Motor model features an electric motor for each wheel, which maximizes the driver’s control in a variety of terrains.
