ADAS are primarily focused on collision avoidance technologies and driver aids, such as night vision, driver alertness, and adaptive cruise control.

ADAS are designed to remove the human error component when operating vehicles of many types, and they have been proven to reduce road fatalities by minimizing human error. Although the growth of ADAS system innovation has garnered exponential popularity, the market has experienced restraints in moving forward with this technology on a large scale due to scalability and cost.
