An aesthetic nurse, also known as a cosmetic nurse, is a registered nurse (RN) who has specialized training in cosmetic procedures. Then, one can pursue specialized training in aesthetic and cosmetic services, which can include certification courses, workshops, and conferences. Some nurses may decide to go beyond the BSN and earn their MSN or DNP in order to become an aesthetic nurse practitioner.
