Attributes can be used to describe a leaf member, a consolidated member, or a collection. When creating an entity that contains many attributes, the attributes can be organized into attribute groups. There are different types of attributes in DBMS, such as simple, composite, single-valued, multi-valued, derived, and stored attributes. In addition, there are file attributes, which are used to store files, documents, or images, and numeric free-form attributes, which require special handling because their values are limited to the SqlDouble value type.
