Baylan Skoll is a character from the Star Wars series who was a former Jedi that lost his faith after the destruction of the Jedi Order. Throughout the Ahsoka series, he has been on a quest for a mysterious higher power, and he is looking to break the cycle of Jedi and Sith, light and dark. In the Ahsoka finale, Baylan is seen standing on a statue of The Father, a character who was previously seen in the Mortis arc of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He felt a calling from the Mortis Gods, which is strange because they died way before Ahsoka Season 1, and he wishes to end the cycle of war between the light and dark side of the force himself. It is not yet clear what Baylan is looking for, but it would seem to have something to do with Mortis and those Force gods, and it might mean gaining access to that mystical realm.
