Bharat Mandapam is a groundscraper type of building that functions as an International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at the India Trade Promotion Organisation complex located at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. It is the biggest exhibition center in Delhi, spanning across an area of nearly 123 acres of exhibition space. The venue is owned, operated, and managed by ITPO, a trade promotion agency under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The name "Bharat Mandapam" draws inspiration from Lord Basaveshwaras concept of Anubhav Mandapam, originally a platform for public ceremonies. The venue is designed to host grand international exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions, conferences, and various prestigious gatherings. It offers a wealth of amenities, including numerous meeting rooms, lounges, auditoriums, an amphitheater, and a fully-equipped business center, enabling it to accommodate a wide spectrum of events. The venue has an impressive multi-purpose hall and plenary hall that collectively accommodate up to seven thousand attendees, surpassing the seating capacity of the renowned Sydney Opera House in Australia. Throughout the G20 summit, Bharat Mandapam served as a platform to exhibit Indias vibrant and diverse culture to global leaders and delegates, earning it the nickname, the cultural corridor.
