BRB is an abbreviation used in online messaging and chatting when someone needs to leave a conversation momentarily. It stands for "be right back" and is used to inform others with whom they are communicating that the sender is taking a break and expects to return quickly. BRB is most commonly used when chatting or messaging with others, and it can be used with friends, colleagues, family members, and even in professional scenarios. Although people are always connected to their devices these days, taking a slightly longer time to reply to someones message isnt necessarily viewed as bad. However, if someone is in the middle of an in-depth discussion online or via text, its considered polite to say "BRB" if they suddenly have to leave.
