Bulwark is a buff in Remnant 2 that grants damage reduction, which enhances the players defense and provides reduction against incoming damage from enemies. The effect provides 5% damage reduction and can stack multiple times, up to five times, resulting in a 25% damage reduction. Players can check if their character has the Bulwark buff active by accessing the Character Menu and looking for a white shield icon located in the top left corner of the screen.

The easiest way to gain multiple stacks of Bulwark is to play the Challenger archetype in Remnant 2. The Juggernaut skill and the Face of Danger perk will provide players with the Bulwark buff. There are also a few items such as Hardcore Metal Band, Fae Bruiser Ring, Soul Guard, Guardian’s Ring, and Rusted Heirloom that provide the Bulwark buff.

To note, players can view details on active status effects in-game by opening the Character menu and hovering over the active effect in the top-left corner of the screen.
