Charisma is a personal quality of presence or charm that others find compelling. It is the ability to attract, charm, and influence those around you. Charismatic individuals express their feelings spontaneously and genuinely, which allows them to affect the moods and emotions of others. Charisma is usually easy to identify when someone possesses it. Scholars in sociology, political science, psychology, and management reserve the term for a type of leadership seen as extraordinary. It is a quality of an individual personality by virtue of which they are set apart from ordinary people and treated as endowed with supernatural, superhuman, or at least specifically exceptional powers or qualities. These powers or qualities are not accessible to the ordinary person but are regarded as of divine origin or as exemplary, and on the basis of them, the individual concerned is treated as a leader.
