Childrens doses are usually lower, with the usual dose for children between 6 to 11 years of age being 5mg twice a day, and the dose for children between 2 to 5 years of age being 2.5mg twice a day. Cetirizine hydrochloride tablets contain 10mg of cetirizine hydrochloride as the active ingredient, along with other inactive ingredients such as lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, talc, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, and sodium citrate.
