Delta-10, also known as Δ-10-Tetrahydrocannabinol, is a cannabinoid that has gained popularity in the cannabis space. It is a positional isomer of tetrahydrocannabinol, discovered in the 1980s. Delta-10 THC is an isomer of the most popular cannabinoid delta-9 THC, with the same chemical formula but a different arrangement of the carbon double bond. It occurs naturally in trace amounts in the cannabis plant and is less potent than delta-9 THC, providing a milder and more clear-headed high. Delta-10 THC interacts with CB1 receptors in the brain to create changes in mood, perception, and memory, and it is used in similar ways to other cannabinoids, such as being smoked and ingested. It is often synthesized from CBD and is found in various products such as concentrates, vape juices, and edibles. Delta-10 THC is federally legal because it is derived from hemp CBD.

Its important to note that there is very little research on the benefits and side effects of delta-10, and the reported adverse effects of THC in general include red eyes, dry mouth, increased appetite, difficulty thinking and speaking, slowed reaction times, anxiety, rapid heart rate, memory loss, hallucinations, vomiting, tremors, dizziness, confusion, and loss of consciousness. Additionally, a major issue with delta-10 products is that they are not regulated, making it difficult for consumers to ensure that they are buying legitimate, high-quality products.
