In SAS: Who Dares Wins, DS stands for Directing Staff. The Directing Staff are former special forces operators who lead the shows grueling selection process, emulating the selection process of special forces including Britains SAS and SBS, as well as the US Marine Corps and Navy SEALs. The Directing Staff are responsible for designing and overseeing the tasks and challenges that the recruits must complete, as well as evaluating their performance and deciding who will be eliminated from the show. The show has had several Directing Staff members over the years, including Rudy Reyes, Jason Fox, and Ant Middleton.
