EA in train refers to Executive Anubhuti, which is a special class of coach available on certain Indian Railways trains. It is a luxury Chair Car class, similar to the business class in flights, with more space and legroom. Each seat is equipped with an infotainment screen, just like in flights. Executive Anubhuti is a new travel class introduced by Indian Railways in Shatabdi trains. The Shatabdi Express offered an Executive A Class that had better and larger executive seats than any of the other executive class trains. It is fully air-conditioned and has only Chair Car type seating arrangements, with no sleeper berths. The seat arrangements are in a 2 X 2 fashion in Executive Class, making it more comfortable and spacious than CC (Chair Car) class like the one’s in Shatabdi trains.
