EFT Credit Canada is an electronic funds transfer payment that appears on a bank statement. It is a payment from the Canadian federal government and can represent any federal payment from various federal support programs such as the Canada Child Benefit, Child Disability Benefit, GST/HST Tax Credit, Canada Workers Benefit, Climate Action Incentive Payment, and others. EFTs are payment systems offered by and accepted by all major banks and credit unions. EFTs allow you to set up recurring electronic payments, send multiple payments and debits simultaneously, save payment information online, and accept payments seamlessly. EFT payments are sometimes called electronic payments, eCheck, electronic banking, or electronic bank transfers.
