Esme Cullen is a character in the Twilight series who is Carlisle Cullens wife and the adoptive mother of Edward, Emmett, Alice Cullen, as well as Rosalie and Jasper Hale. She was born in 1895 and was transformed into a vampire by Carlisle in 1921 when she was 26 years old.
