Shopee Guarantee is a feature that protects both buyers and sellers against fraudulent transactions to keep online shopping and selling safe and easy). Shopee Guarantee allows Shopee to temporarily retain payment to confirm that the transaction is successfully completed before releasing the cash to the seller. The buyer has the option to request a refund through the Shopee app if the item is found to be defective.

Extend Shopee Guarantee is a one-time feature for each order that allows the client to extend the Shopee Guarantee for an additional 3 or 4 days. The extension is free of charge and is normally reserved for situations where an item is shipped to a buyer’s local address but cannot be delivered during the Shopee Guarantee Period because of public holidays or weekends.

To extend Shopee Guarantee, the buyer can click the "Extend Shopee Guarantee" button on the Order Details page. The buyer is allowed a one-time 3-day extension of the Shopee Guarantee period if they have yet to receive an order that has been shipped. If the buyer has not received their order by the end of the three-day Shopee Guarantee extension period, they should seek a refund before the end of the three-day Shopee Guarantee extension period ends.
