Fragile is an adjective that describes something that is easily harmed, damaged, or broken. It can refer to physical objects, such as a fragile vase or delicate bones, or to situations that are weak or uncertain and unlikely to be able to resist strong pressure or attack. Fragile can also describe a person who is constitutionally delicate or lacking in vigor.
