Freely is a British free-to-air IPTV streaming service launched in 2024 by Everyone TV, a joint venture of major public broadcasters in the UK including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5. It allows viewers to stream live television and on-demand content from these broadcasters over an internet connection without the need for a TV aerial or satellite dish. Freely consolidates live channels and on-demand media into a unified electronic programme guide (EPG), enabling seamless switching between channels and catch- up services in one place for free. It is built into certain smart TVs and offers features like pausing, restarting live TV, parental controls, and an accessible TV guide. By streaming over broadband, it represents the next evolution of free TV in the UK, aiming to eventually replace traditional Freeview services.
