ICC stands for International Criminal Court. It is a permanent international court established to investigate, prosecute and try individuals accused of committing the most serious crimes of concern to the international community as a whole, namely the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression. The ICC investigates and, where warranted, tries individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community. The ICC is headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands.

It is an international governing body for cricket, established in 1909 as the Imperial Cricket Conference by representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. It was later renamed the International Cricket Conference in 1965 and then the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1989. The ICC has 105 member nations, some are full members, some are associate members, and some are affiliate members. The nations that are full members of ICC include India, New Zealand, England, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe. The ICC governs and administrates the game of cricket and works with its members to grow the sport.
