Gyro aiming is a technique used in first-person shooters and other games requiring precise movements. It is a way to bridge the gap between controllers and a mouse and achieve precision by using a gyroscope-equipped device to aim by tilting your controller. The basic idea is to use the gyroscope to aim by tilting the controller, which allows for more precise aiming than using the right analog stick. Gyro aiming is similar to mouse aiming in that both utilize your wrist and arms for aiming. The degree of physical input required is also similar between the two.

To turn on gyro aiming, you need to go to the controller settings and then to the advanced tab by pressing R1 and scroll down to gyro behavior and turn it on. Gyro aiming is not only "the closest equivalent to Mouse Aiming", its at least on par with it and should become the standard for any game that wants you to aim with a controller. Gyro aiming has the potential to be even better than a mouse for some gamers.
