Haikal Sulemani is a temple that was built by Hazrat Suleman (A.S) to protect the Taboot-e-Sakina, which held belongings of the Prophets who were sent by Allah Almighty. Hazrat Dawood (A.S) had the custody of Taboot Al-Sakinah and wanted to build a temple to protect it along with other assets of Prophet (PBUH) but he couldn’t complete its construction during his lifetime, therefore, Hazrat Suleman (A.S) took it to himself and built the temple which thus was named as Haikal-e-Sulemani. The temple was destroyed by the people of Babylonia, but it was later erected again by the Israelis. Some believe that the people of Babylon took the Taboot with them, while others believe it was taken to the heavens.
