Henry Sugar is a fictional character created by Roald Dahl in his short story "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar". The character is not based on a real person, despite Dahls claims that Henry Sugar lived under a different identity. However, one character in the recent Netflix adaptation of the story, Imdad Khan, was inspired by the true story of Pakistani mystic Kuda Bux, known as "The Man with the X-Ray Eyes". Therefore, there is no real name associated with the character of Henry Sugar.
