ICAS stands for International Competitions and Assessments for Schools. It is a suite of full-color online competitions designed specifically for primary and secondary students, conducted annually in Australia and over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Pacific countries, and America. ICAS assesses students skills in Digital Technologies, English, Mathematics, Science, Spelling, and Writing. The competition was started over 40 years ago and has since become an internationally recognized annual event completed across 41 countries. ICAS is an academic competition that challenges students and recognizes their achievements in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. The questions are engaging, fun, and written in a way that is entirely different from regular school assessments, aiming to test students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving abilities. ICAS provides a reporting system that is easy to use and gives the opportunity for parents to view their child’s individual results.
