The IOC Session is the general assembly of the members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) . It is the supreme body of the IOC, and its decisions are final. An ordinary Session is held once a year, while Extraordinary Sessions may be convened by the President or upon the written request of at least one-third of the Members. During the Session, key decisions are made, such as picking host cities for future Olympic Games. The 141st IOC Session was held in Mumbai, India in 2023.
