Jio Bharat is a series of budget-friendly 4G phones introduced by Reliance Jio, a telecommunications company in India. The Jio Bharat phone platform targets the existing 250 million feature phone users by offering internet-enabled phones at affordable prices. The Jio Bharat phone is priced similarly to a 2G feature phone, but it provides 4G phone-like features such as over-the-top (OTT) content access through JioCinema and music streaming app JioSaavn, as well as support for UPI payments through the JioPay app. The device will be carrier-locked to Jio’s network. The Jio Bharat phone comes with a 1.77-inch screen, external SD card support up to 128 GB, and a 1000 mAh battery. The Jio Bharat B1 is a budget-friendly 4G phone with a 2.4-inch screen and a 2000 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 1,299.
