Team Jumbo-Visma is a Dutch professional top sports team that performs at the highest level in cycling and speed skating. The team was formed in 2019 after signing a new sponsorship deal with Visma, a Norwegian software company, and is the successor of the former Rabobank team). The team consists of four sections: ProTeam (the UCI WorldTeam team), Womens Team (the UCI Womens Team), Development Team (a UCI Continental team racing in the UCI Europe Tour), and cyclo-cross).
Jumbo Supermarkten, a Dutch supermarket with a focus on healthy food, is the other main sponsor of the team. The performance staff of Team Jumbo-Visma guides the riders through a personal nutrition plan that is geared to the cyclist’s race and schedule. Based on this, the FoodCoach app proposes suitable meals with the correct amount of calories, fat, carbs, and proteins.
