It is designed to reclaim how we take and share memories, and it uses a unique recruiting technique to bring you an experience that distinguishes itself from any other popular social media app currently on the market. Here are some key features of Lapse:

• Disposable Camera: Lapse turns your phone into a disposable camera, and you cannot review, edit, or curate photos in ways that other platforms encourage.

• Film Processing Engine: The photos are "developed" in-app through a "film processing engine," giving Lapse photos a specific look.

• Friends Not Followers: Lapse does not use the "follower" format of social media apps. Instead, it connects its users from friend to friend and allows them to start group chats.

• Journals: Lapse has a feature called "Journals," which are sectioned by months, essentially grouping all of your selected photos in monthly photo dumps.
